Make an about-face and walk a block to pick up a snack or sandwich for your hike at Sperryville Corner Store, a 150 year old country store with a wide selection of deli and other items.

Check in to one of the five guest rooms or cottage at Hopkins Ordinary Bed Breakfast and Ale Works. Enjoy a sudsy brew from the Ale Works in the garden or relax on your porch!

Follow your sleep-over with breakfast or lunch from  Off the Grid. This restaurant, powered by solar, has its own garden and  a varied menu to suit any taste—vegan, vegetarian or meat-eater.

Back on Main Street, Thornton River Art displays beautiful landscape paintings of nearby farmland and mountains as well as stained glass, pottery and other works from local artists.  In the same block, Haley Fine Art, offers a unique selection of paintings and sculptures and mounts three exhibitions a year in May, October and December, generally on the second Saturday, 5-8pm.
